5 reasons to choose Rent Guide to run your case
| Published September 21, 2017
Even though it is possible to run your own case through Huslejenævnet (Danish Housing Board), we here give five reasons why you might be better off by choosing Rent Guide to run your case.
1. It’s a complex system!
The main reason to choose Rent Guide to represent you is the complexity of the system, as most cases are very time-consuming. Especially foreigners will have a hard time to navigate the system, and the worst cases are often difficult to handle for expats as the landlords target expats directly. At the same time, the probability of a win is higher if the case is handled by professionals as some landlords use large law firms to handle their cases.
2. Get the maximum compensation!
Some cases might be easy enough to handle on your own, but we make sure that instead of being compensated for the minimum amount, you will receive the full amount. If we win your case we will charge 24%+VAT of the compensation you get and 0% of any possible future deduction of your rent. This is obviously a motivation for us to secure the highest possible compensation for you as it also results in a better outcome for us. A win-win situation!
3. We will give the landlord a fight for your money!
Running your own case against powerful landlords can be a mouthful, especially because the often, as mentioned, hire large law firms to handle their cases. However, landlords know that we will fight hard for your case, so they will think twice before they make it a costly case in trial.
4. No risk of spending money on a lost case!
Even if we are not able to win your the case, you will never have any costs using us. We take care of all costs and fees throughout the case process, and if the case is lost you will not have to pay us back for this. One more reason for us to work hard to make sure the case is won and (hopefully) one more reason for you to have us handle your case. With Rent Guide you will never have to grab your wallet, you can just sit back and relax.
5. Have us take a look at your case in an informal meeting!
Most cases we see are not “easy”, so any case should be judged separately. This is why we start out by meeting with you to discuss the case. So even if you do not wish us to represent you, we’ll always be more than willing to advice you. That is 100% your call!
